Full-scale Spitfire MkV - from Canada...
Started in fall of 2003 the Fighter Werks Spitfire MkVa is a full scale CAD designed wood replica utilizing a one piece laminated wing. Once complete, Fighter Werks plan on making a fast-build kit available to the enthusiast who seeks the smooth lines that only a full scale spitfire provides without the huge investment of time and money that is involved with other scratch built aircraft.
The Fighter Werks MkV will share many components that have been painstakingly replicated from the original to retain the flavor of the original fighter while at the same time providing the builder with easily accessible new parts.
